Irish stage and film actor (1879–1947) who appeared in over 40 films, including the original Maltese Falcon, and especially memorable as the Chief Detective in the horror classic, The Invisible Man. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 doubleweight head-and-shoulders photo, signed and inscribed vertically in fountain pen “To Joe, with best wishes, Dudley Digges.” In fine condition, with some scattered light surface marks and dings, and irregular emulsion to left edge.
